You need JavaScript enabled to view it ] has commenced offering a contracted service of rebar imaging in plan and 3D views to assist the NZ Civil Industry assess the seismic stability of older concrete structures.

Work undertaken throughout New Zealand includes assisting the avoidance of rebar during concrete cutting, through to the assessing rebar integrity prior to earthquake strengthening or extensions to older concrete structures.

Such information offers a vital contribution to assessing Seismic integrity under the 2006 Building Act.

Surveys are conducted quickly and simply on site, with imaged rebar being immediately visible. Formal reports are also offered to assist in the preparation of a fuller engineering report.
